How to cancel Amazon Prime in Canada
Short answer: go to Manage Prime Membership on Amazon.ca. On a paid membership, select End Membership; on a free trial, select Do Not Continue. If you signed up in Amazon's Android shopping app or the Prime Video Android app, cancel in Google Play instead.

Cancel Amazon Prime (paid or free trial)
- Open Manage Prime Membership from the Amazon.ca help page (sign in if asked).
- Check your renewal date, then:
- Free trial: select Do Not Continue. Without it, the trial turns into a paid membership automatically.
- Paid membership: select End Membership.

Good to know:
- Channels you added in Prime Video, such as Paramount+, stay active after Prime ends. Cancel them separately in Your Memberships and Subscriptions.
- Prime renews automatically each period until you turn it off.
Can I get a refund?
From the Amazon Prime Terms:
- Within 14 days of signing up or of a free trial turning paid: full refund, minus the value of any Prime benefits you used in that time.
- At any other time: full refund only if you made no eligible purchases and used no Prime benefits since your last Prime charge. Amazon says this refund takes 3 to 5 business days.
- Memberships from a gift code or promo code aren't refundable.
