Subloupe Terms of Service
1. What Subloupe is
Subloupe is a private subscription tracker. The free version works without an account, and your data stays on your device. Bank and card statements you import are read and processed in your browser, on your device: they are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Subloupe is a Québec company.
2. Subloupe Plus
Plus is an optional paid subscription that adds features on top of the free version. You need an account (email sign-in link) to buy Plus.
3. Prices
- Monthly: $4.99 CAD per month.
- Yearly: $39.99 CAD per year.
- Founding offer: if you subscribe to the yearly plan by December 31, 2026, your first year is $29.99 CAD (about $2.50 per month), then $39.99 CAD per year.
Applicable taxes (for example GST and QST) are added based on your billing address. The total price, taxes included, is shown before you pay.
4. Payment and renewal
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You receive a receipt for every payment.
5. Price changes
If we change the price of Plus, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from "Manage billing", at no cost. Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew after that. Your data stays on your device and the free version keeps working.
7. Refunds
Payments are not refunded, including for a period that has already started. You can cancel at any time, and you keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for.
This section never limits the rights the law gives you.
8. Your rights as a Québec consumer (in plain language)
- These terms do not take away any right the law gives you as a consumer.
- The total price, taxes included, is clearly shown before payment, with no surprise fees.
- You receive a copy of these terms and a receipt for every payment.
- You can cancel your subscription easily, at any time.
- If a clause is unclear, it is interpreted in your favour.
- If there is a problem, contact us first. You can also contact the Office de la protection du consommateur.
9. Our responsibility
We do our best to keep Subloupe working well, but the service may sometimes be unavailable. Because your data is on your device, keep your own backups (export). Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it.
10. Changes
We will tell you about any important change before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada.
