How to remove a Fizz add-on or plan option

Short answer: Fizz has two kinds of extras. A recurring option in your plan (such as international calls or voicemail) is removed by changing your plan: log in on Fizz.ca, go to My plans → Manage plan → Change my plan, remove the option and save. A one-time Add-On (data, minutes, texts) isn't a subscription: it's valid until the end of your next payment cycle and doesn't renew.

Remove a recurring option (change your plan)

  1. Log in to your account on Fizz.ca.
  2. Go to My plans → Manage plan → Change my plan.
  3. Remove the option. The new monthly total appears in the box below.
  4. Save your changes.

The change takes effect at the start of your next payment cycle. To cancel a pending change, return to the same page.

Timing: the freeze period

Fizz's freeze period starts 72 hours (3 days) before the end of your payment cycle. During it, only one change request is allowed. Change your plan earlier to be safe.

Watch out: price of the new plan

Fizz says any plan change applies the current price of the selected services, even if you only remove one item. Check the new monthly total before saving: it may not go down.

One-time Add-Ons

Add-Ons take effect immediately and are valid until the end of your next payment cycle. Fizz doesn't describe a way to cancel them, and they don't renew.

Find the subscriptions you forgot

Import a bank or credit card statement into Subloupe to see every recurring charge you still pay, with its yearly cost. CSV is recommended (OFX and QFX work too; PDF reading is in Beta). The file is read in your browser and never uploaded. Free tracks up to 5 subscriptions with no account; Plus (unlimited, with calendar reminders and CSV export) is free during early access. Pro comes later.
